LUMINAIRE LEADS
Lighting Controls manufacture a range of luminaire leads that provide a pluggable connection between an LCM and luminaires. These leads can be manufactured with a variety of plugs, such as Metway, Enstow, Wago, and Wieland to ensure compatibility with any luminaire within a building. Lengths can also vary.
KAO PARK, HARLOW ENTERPRISE ZONE
Harlow Enterprise Zone is a new science and IT park in a campus style environment with excellent transport connections providing a new development for advanced manufacturing and life sciences/medical technology businesses. The on-site linkages with Anglia Ruskin University provide a dynamic collaborative environment between business and higher education with increased opportunities for innovation and enterprise. The Enterprise Zone contributes to economic growth and the UK’s export potential.
Harlow’s long-established reputation as a science-led town continues to grow with the development of the Harlow Enterprise Zone. This reputation originated in the 1960s with the development of fibre optic technology at Standard Telecommunication Laboratories (STL) by Nobel Prize winner Charles Kao, and continues to go from strength to strength over 50 years later.
Comprised of two buildings (Kao One/Building V and Kao Two/Building M), Kao Park is at the heart of the Harlow Enterprise Zone. Lighting Controls played an integral role in the redevelopment of Kao Two/Building M, now fully fitted to provide a mixture of individual management offices, meeting rooms and a large kitchen/break out area. The main body of the space provides banks of desks with modern workstations. We supplied a modular wiring system combined with DS10LCM’s and CAN PIR’s, with the illuminated wall graphics depicted also being fully controlled by the LCM’s. This facilitated a fast and simple installation process for the electrical contractors at JCA Engineering Ltd.
